Last week’s Institute was terrific – great sessions, speakers, and celebrations; a sold-out Expo, and the opportunity to be together in person. Our goal is to build upon that positive experience through the virtual portion of the event.

Entering its 13^th year, Leadership Academy provides experienced and emerging leaders an opportunity to explore and practice ideas, tools, principles, and theories that they leverage to strengthen their leadership and support their teams and organizations.

We celebrated the 2021 Class of Leadership Academy Fellows today at the Institute & Expo – one of the largest classes in this program's twelve-year history. Applications are being accepted for the 2022 class.

Since 2010, LeadingAge Minnesota’s Leadership Academy has mentored and cultivated more than 350 emerging transformational leaders in our field. During their year-long program, Leadership Academy provides an opportunity to explore and practice ideas, tools, principles, and theories that they leverage to strengthen their leadership and foster an organizational culture to lead in normal and not-so-normal times.

It takes a lot of behind-the-scenes work to make the Institute run as smoothly as possible.

The application for the 2022 Leadership Academy is now open!

Leading well through an extended crisis requires having solid skills and team relationships already in place. During their year-long program, Leadership Academy provides an opportunity for its participants to explore and practice ideas, tools, principles and theory that they leverage to strengthen their leadership and foster an organizational culture to lead in normal and not-so-normal times.

Licensed Assisted Living Directors (LALDs) are required by the Minnesota Board of Executives for Long-Term Services and Supports (BELTTS) to earn 30 clock hours in the two years before their license renewal.

The 2022 Institute & Expo includes a selection of education sessions designed to assist your organization's post-pandemic strategic planning. These sessions include:

LeadingAge Minnesota is seeking volunteers for the 2022 Institute & Expo, scheduled for Feb. 9-11 at the RiverCentre in St. Paul.

It takes a lot of behind-the-scenes work to make the Institute run as smoothly as possible. One vital job requires no previous experience, no public speaking, and the opportunity to network with expert faculty.

Two Pre-Conference Intensive Sessions on Tuesday, Feb. 8, provide deep-dive learning on essential issues. They offer excellent add-on value to the Institute experience and can be attended whether you are registered for the Institute or not. Separate registration and fee are required.
