The Institute & Expo in February includes a full Quality & Patient Safety Conference-within-a-Conference within the conference, plus a full day Foundations of Quality Improvement Boot Camp as a pre-conference option.

The 2022 Institute & Expo features the return of the Leadership Intensive on Wednesday, Feb. 9 – a half-day session for executives and leaders to help strengthen their organizations and build the momentum necessary to propel past the pandemic and beyond.

This year’s Institute is a blended conference model – three days of in-person education, expo, and events Feb. 9-11 in St. Paul, and three days of virtual education Feb. 22-24. Over 100 education sessions have been carefully selected and developed to address top-of-mind issues and opportunities. Here is a sampling:

Our annual conference offers a blended event model for the first time – three days of live education, exhibits, and special events in Saint Paul and three additional days of virtual education programming. 

Care centers may apply for a moratorium exception project for approval by the Minnesota Department of Health. A webinar on Dec. 10 provides information and guidance to submit a successful application.

These ratings are increasingly used by consumers, regulators, insurers, and other payers and provider networks to select which facilities they will consider having relationships with.

The 2021 Connect Conference will be a virtual event on Oct. 27 and 28 and is packed with excellent education and learning opportunities.

Registration remains open and includes both the live broadcast of the conference, and full on-demand access to all session content through the end of the year.

2021 has seen its share of changes to the best-laid plans. That includes LeadingAge Minnesota events and conferences planned as in-person gatherings that were subsequently converted to virtual learning experiences in the face of COVID-19 and the spread of variants. Our fall conferences are the latest to be impacted.

The Quality and Patient Safety Conference on Oct. 14 in Bloomington and the pre-conference workshop, Foundations of Quality Improvement, on Oct. 13 focus on building and improving quality programs in all aging services settings.
