Welcome Sue Boyd, Director of Clinical Care and Nurse Consultant

LeadingAge Minnesota is pleased to announce that Sue Boyd will join our team as the Director of Clinical Care and Nurse Consultant. Sue’s first day is Thursday, Jan. 31 and she will hit the ground running at next week’s Institute & Expo. 

Sue is already known to many of you through her active role with LeadingAge Minnesota as a member.  She most recently served as the Chief Nursing Office with Welcov Healthcare. Prior to that, Sue served as the Vice President of Quality Assurance with Elim Care. She has also been a key participant and contributor to many of our Association committees. 

Sue has more than 20 years of experience in long-term care—a career that has included roles across skilled nursing centers, assisted living and independent senior housing. She brings with her specific expertise in the areas of: federal, state, OSHA and life safety regulations, clinical development, QAPI and other quality assurance and improvement processes, RAI/MDS process, data collection and analysis, and survey preparation and management.
