Previous messages indicated that subsequent grant cycles would open over the next two years; however, applications cycles will be limited and will likely end in early 2022. If you plan to apply in future application cycles, please plan accordingly.

Round Two of FCC COVID-19 Telehealth Program Announced

The Federal Communications Commission’s Wireline Competition Bureau will begin accepting applications for Round 2 of the COVID-19 Telehealth Program on Thursday, April 29 at www.fcc.gov/covid19telehealth. The filing window will last seven calendar days and close on Thursday, May 6 at 11 a.m. CT. Round 2 of the COVID-19 Telehealth Program is a $249.95 million federal initiative that builds on Round 1—a $200 million program established as part of the CARES Act.

LALD Training Covered by HCBS Scholarship

The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), Office of Rural Health and Primary Care has confirmed that the Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) training program is eligible for funding through the Home and Community Based Scholarship Grant Program. Apply today!
The application deadline has been extended to April 6 at 11:59 p.m. Find the HCBS Scholarship Program details, application, and forms on the MDH website. Grants will run for 24 months, starting on July 1, 2021 and ending June 30, 2023.

LAMF COVID-19 Courage Funds Grants
For staff support funds, LAMF is offering grants of up to $10,000 for each awarded site. Called the LAMF COVID-19 Courage Funds Grants, these applications can be for existing or new staff support programs that provide cash assistance and/or mental health support for staff of LeadingAge Minnesota senior care provider members across settings including assisted living, care centers, home care, and adult day programs.
