Proposes to Limit Information to be Reported Electronically by Certain Employers

In a proposed rule released for public inspection this week, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) aims to make changes to a 2016 final rule that requires the electronic reporting of work-related injury and illness data.  

Minnesota OSHA Adopts Federal Regulations on Tracking Workforce Injuries, Illnesses

The Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry (DLI) announced that Minnesota OSHA has adopted the federal regulation requiring employees to electronically submit injury and illness data that they already record. All Minnesota employers with 20 or more employees are required to electronically submit their data to federal OSHA by July 1.
