LeadingAge MN Foundation Awards COVID-19 Grants to 75 Sites in Rural Minnesota

The LeadingAge Minnesota Foundation (LAMF) last week awarded $660,000 in COVID-19 grants to fund staff support and virtual adult day services.
Sixty-two member sites across the state received up to $10,000 to help staff with emergency cash assistance and managing stress related to COVID-19.
Thirteen rural Adult Day Services programs were awarded between $9,000 and $7,500 to support virtual services for participants. Funds can be used for staff, technology, or other supports for older adults and their caregivers.
The grant period goes through next June. Ideas and best practices generated through these grant programs will be shared throughout the year so all members can learn and benefit.
