A curated selection of Assisted Living Licensure sessions from the Institute has been packaged as a sampler that organizations may purchase to share with staff. The sampler includes 11 sessions which may be purchased individually or as a package.

The next Assisted Living/Home Care Nurse Leaders Network (ALNET) meeting is scheduled for June 24 from 10–11:30 a.m.

This summer's District Meetings will be held starting on June 8. Except for District F, which will meet in person in July, all meetings will be held virtually and will go from 1 – 3 p.m.

More than 3,300 people attended the live broadcast of this virtual conference May 18-21, and even more are expected to log in to access all the educational sessions and keynote presentations.

More than 3,300 professionals attended the 2021 virtual Institute last week. All sessions and keynote presentations are available for registered individuals to access on-demand viewing and earning CEUs from June 1 through July 31.

A four-part intensive workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of the various new requirements with which Assisted Living providers will be expected to comply under the new licensure law. We will offer the workshop in a virtual format in the mornings of May 26, 27 and July 13, 14. It includes several topics all in one program series rather than individual sessions. This is an excellent series for assisted living teams to attend together.

FORWARD – that is the theme of the 2021 Virtual Institute, May 18-21, and it most definitely reflects the spirit of optimism we're feeling from our members. Over 3,000 people are registered to attend this historic virtual conference customarily held in St. Paul during February.

The assisted living licensure law represents a significant and historic change in how assisted living is provide and regulated in Minnesota and goes into effect Aug. 1. There is much for providers and individuals to do to prepare for its implementation.
